I would like to invite you all to our 4th Annual MS Staff Team Building Event on Sunday, August 26th, the day before the staff reports back to work. Of course, this is a voluntary team building event, but I couldn't think of a better way to start the school year than summiting the local favorite Alberta Peak together. This hike is not as extreme and difficult as Pagosa Peak and Black Head Peak, and we'll have the Continental Divide Trail to follow. This expedition is to both model adventure learning behavior and give you another idea for your upcoming advisory team building event.
We will depart from the middle school parking lot at 7am and should return around lunch time. You are welcome to bring family members along. Please arrange to carpool up to the trailhead - the summit of Wolf Creek Pass (Hwy 160). This is a moderately strenuous hike approximate 2.5 miles one way. It will be a glorious experience; it will knit our staff together as we prepare for the upcoming school year.
