Bio
Terri Lindstrom, a master teacher, has been teaching for 28 years for the Chama Valley School District. She has been a leader in the 4, 5, 6 math and science departments. In 2013, Mrs. Lindstrom was awarded the Golden Apple Award for excellence in teaching. She joined the LANL Foundation Teacher Leader Cadre 5 years ago to participate in professional development and provide professional development to science teachers in Northern New Mexico. She provides professional development that teaches the LANL Foundation philosophies and how they can be applied to all subject areas. Most recently, Terri received her teaching certificate in Colorado. She is currently teaching 7th and 8th grade math at Pagosa Springs Middle School.
When not instilling a love for math and science in the lives of students and teachers, Terri is passionate about the outdoors! She enjoys hiking, biking, kayaking, water and snow skiing as much as absolutely possible. Spending time with her husband, Gerry, and her daughters, Kayleigh and Jordan, on El Vado Lake in the summertime is a priority!
