Mrs. Holleran was born in Phoenix, Arizona.  Following high school graduation, she began studying Agri-business.  Realizing that her first love was working with children, she switched her major to elementary education.  She has been teaching since 1991 and loving every minute of it!  Living in a rural farming community, she and her family were involved in 4-H and raising livestock (goats, chickens, turkeys, lambs, calves, and horses), She and her husband moved to Pagosa Springs in 2020. In addition to her passion for teaching, Mrs. Holleran enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, camping, fishing, kayaking, and ATVing.
