Bio

Mr. Hanson was born just outside of Denver in Littleton, CO. He moved several times, living in Florida and Costa Rica! After graduating from an international high school, he moved back to the states and attended college at Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He earned his degree in English and Creative Writing, minoring in environmental science. Mr. Hanson also discovered his love of fly fishing in the North Georgia mountains. In an effort to find more fishing and beautiful scenery, he moved to Pagosa Springs in his home state of Colorado. Mr. Hanson loves working with students and exploring history together. Outside of school, his time is mostly spent on the river fly fishing or at home reading a book.
