Ms. Fryska is passionate about helping students become curious, confident, and lifelong learners. She has over 15 years of experience teaching middle and high school science in Colorado and Indiana. Throughout her career, she has focused on creating engaging, hands-on learning experiences that encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and explore the world around them.

Ms. Fryska holds a Master of Science in Secondary Education from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Germanic Studies. Before returning to the classroom in Colorado, Ms. Fryska worked as a Field Guide with Open Sky Wilderness Therapy, where she mentored students in outdoor settings, and previously served as an Operations Manager at Ramah in the Rockies. These experiences strengthened her leadership skills and deepened her belief in experiential learning and character development.

Outside of school, Ms. Fryska is an avid outdoor adventurer and former ultramarathoner. She completed a thru-hike of the 2,187-mile Appalachian Trail and enjoys backpacking, trail running, mountain biking, snowboarding and exploring the Colorado outdoors. She loves bringing her passion for science and nature into her classroom to inspire students to see the connections between what they learn and the world beyond school.
