Mrs. Candelaria was born in Kremmling, Colorado and then moved to Pagosa as a young first grader. After graduating from high school, where she met her wonderful husband, Keith Candelaria, she continued her education at Colorado State University.  While earning her degree in Sports Medicine, she swam for their Division I program as a butterflier and sprint freestyler.  She and her husband just couldn't stay away from this beautiful town and their families, so they moved back to Pagosa. The Candelerias have two wonderful boys, Adam and Logan, and a beautiful baby girl, Everly.  Mrs. Candelaria loves working with her students but she also enjoys scrapbooking, camping, reading, hiking, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, water skiing/wakeboarding, cooking, running and a hot cup of coffee.
